UPCOMING PROJECTS

Come Closer Opens April 24 at Atlas Bar & Gallery!

April 1, 2025

I’m excited to invite you to my show “Come Closer” at Atlas Bar & Gallery, Neustiftgasse 51, 1070 Wien, featuring all-new work about which I’m pretty excited. The show centers around themes of connection and vulnerability, and the ways our choices to embrace the constraints of meaningful relationship enrich not only our own lives, but also generate life into the dead or empty spaces around us.

The show will open at 18:30 on 24.4, with an artist talk moderated by the inimitable Paula Marschalek starting at 19:00, and followed by a musical offering from Caleb Dossett.

In keeping with the theme, we’ve invited author Nastasja Penzar, author of Yona and lecturer at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, and musician and writer Caleb Dossett to share their own personal artistic takes on the theme of intimacy and vulnerability. There are few things I enjoy more than a multidisciplinary art evening or salon, and I’m excited to experience their work together with you on Saturday, April 26 at 18:30.

Atelier Montez in Rome has been organizing a large group collective show since the beginning of the pandemic, striving to achieve a world record for number of artists participating in a group show. My Ezekiel project is at their showroom in Rome, amid all the other artworks for this show. Check out my work on their site, and look over the other artist’s work as well! :)

Kunst ab Hinterhof

I’m excited to continue being represented by Kunst ab Hinterhof, Vienna’s online forum representing contemporary artists. Kunst ab Hinterhof participates also in regular art fairs and events throughout Vienna and the rest of Europe, and has really helped connect me with interested buyers. While you’re there, check out work from two of my studiomates at the Future Atelier, Philip Renda and Jari Genser, who are also partially represented by KAH.

Thank you, Vienna Saloon.

I’m happy to be a member of the Vienna Saloon, a nonprofit network for women in the Vienna Art Scene. It can be tough forming meaningful connections with other artists when you are new in town, especially during a pandemic. The Vienna Saloon has been welcoming and has persevered in creative ways throughout the pandemic, trying to keep the conversation going. Good job, ladies. Check out their webpage here. Highly recommended for female artists new in town or looking to make more connections.
